Viking Utility Inc. is an electrical contractor with a specialized concentration in underground electrical utilities. Viking provides a range of benefits to its customers by being licensed and certified in areas to manage solutions from installation of conduit to high voltage segments.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: 


Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and moving materials 


Ability to load and unload equipment 


Ability to dig and refill holes 


Ability to pull/lay conduit, wiring and PVC piping 


Ability to operate small equipment 


A valid driver's license is ideal 


Ability to cross-train in other positions and assist other employees as needed 


Must work well in a team environment 


 


Competencies and Abilities: 


Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor 


Must be able to speak, write and communicate in English 


Ability to effectively communicate and calmly 


Time management skills 


Attention to detail and accuracy  


 




Benefits: 




Hourly Rate $16HR+ - depending on certifications & experience

Qualifications

Qualifications, Education and Experience:  



  • High school diploma or GED (preferred), 

  • Relevant trade school or able to demonstrate hands-on job experience 

  • At least two (1) years of relative experience 



  • Pre-employment criminal background and drug screen required
