Job Summary:

The Project Manager will manage job progress, financial tracking, budgeting and routine project reports under the supervision of Sr. Project Manager. In addition, the preferred candidate will coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects.

 

This position is located in Plymouth Meeting, PA or Avoca/Syracuse, NY. 

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees various aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned project.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
  • Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
  • Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Compares the actual cost of development project to estimates.
  • Conducts routine maintenance checks and performs preventive maintenance on utility equipment.
  • Supports Quality compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
  • Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
  • Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.
  • Conducts Prechecks and locates.
  • Supervises progress of development project.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field, with at least three years of management experience leading multidisciplinary design teams required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with experience.
