- Pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to the job. Check and maintain fluids in the vehicle as directed.
- Load material on equipment and secure as directed.
- Safely drive and operate the following, 6 wheel, 10 wheel or tri-axle dumps, boom trucks, or equivalent. Load, unload, and dump as directed.
- Participate in pre-job JHA ( Job Hazard Analysis) on a daily basis.
- Report any unsafe conditions to your foreman.
- Operate tools as directed by foreman.
- Place, remove, or maintain underground utilities as directed. This would include but not limited to carrying pipe, bags of cement, and other heavy items. Jack hammering, shoveling, tamping, and installing pipe, duct, or cable
- At all times work in a safe manner
Machines, Tools, Equipment, and Work Aids: 6 wheel, 10 wheel or tri-axle dumps, boom trucks, or equivalent. Jack Hammers, Chop Saws, Tampers, Rollers, Vibratory Plates, Water Pump, Air Ventilator, Gas Monitors, basic hand tools.
Work Schedules and Hours:
While work schedules and hours may vary somewhat depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5 – 8’s. Work hours include beginning at approximately 6:00 a.m. and finishing around 4:00 p.m. One half-hour lunch. Overtime as job dictates.
