General Expectations

• Identify and construct cost estimates through an examination of the resources and labor required to execute certain projects.
• Examine supplier pricing to ascertain the cost of each component individually and negotiating with merchants and suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing
• Save time on future estimates by maintaining cost databases and include typical expenditures.
• Review the project’s requirements.
• Analyze the plans and understand them.
• Determine the budget and time restrictions.
• Understand the price of each component’s supply.
• Calculate the amount of labor needed to complete the job.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors.
• Perform calculations for various ways to profitability.
• Keep up good contacts with the suppliers.
• Describe the expense and resource required for projects to translate a clear picture to PM of project quotation development. Required but not limited to preliminary schedule, schedule of values and copy of bid design
• Provide support to team members with that may not be listed to move projects forward for the benefit of the company at supervisors’ approval or request.
